LET'S GO SHOPPING is a collection of video game shop music, aka the music that plays when you are buying things in a game. It includes 300 songs from about 240 games across 35 years of releases, totaling 9 hours of music. That's enough music that you can throw it on shuffle for hours and not get bored, but if you're looking for a more organized listening experience, it's been sorted into three discs with a set listening order. That's right - I put all 9 hours of music in order so everything flows nicely. As well, the three discs are meant to fit different times of day: disc 1 is the morning, disc 2 is the afternoon, and disc 3 is the evening, so you can pick a specific disc depending on whether you want light, peppy music, something more energetic, or a more relaxed, jazzy vibe.
The entire thing is available for download, properly tagged and with several options for album art. I've also created a Google Sheets document with the entire tracklist and some additional data about each song so you can dig deeper into my choices, if you're so inclined. Links are here:
DOWNLOAD (MP3)TRACKLISTI'll also include a text tracklist and album covers under the readmore below. Note that this is not the recommended place to view the tracklist - the spreadsheet is both easier to read and contains additional info - but it's included as a backup in case the links above don't work.
